What Friends Do

- Heighten awareness of the Bookmobile program, especially in the communities it serves.
- Encourage and receive gifts to the Bookmobile and the Dane County Library Service.
The Dane County Bookmobile is a program of the Dane County Library Service.
The Bookmobile Service was created in 1967 to serve areas of Dane County not served by a municipal library.
Bookmobile stops are made throughout the County. The Bookmobile travels with a collection of almost 5,000 items available for borrowing — books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, and books on CD.
