Shirley Kevil of Sun Prairie Reviews:The Seance
by Heather Graham
This paranormal romance takes place at Christina’s housewarming party. The talk turns to a recent murder that resembles the Intestate Killer from fifteen years before.
The guests drag out an old Ouija board for a little spooky fun. Instead of spooky fun the situation becomes terrifying.
Summoned by the Ouija board, the restless spirit of Beau Kidd, the lead detective and chief suspect on the original case of the “Interstate Killer”, seeks Christina’s help to clear his name. As a ghost, who was shot and killed, he needs Christina’s help.
To help and comfort her, Christina adopts a dog– a little Jack Russell named Killer.
The séance is a channel for the dead and a warning to the living that the Interstate Killer is still out there.
A spooky and fun read!

Trees
by Pamela Wright of Sun Prairie
White, soft pink
and nearly red,
they lift
their floral arms
trees of spring
complacent bloom,
mindless
of their charms!
